Markus Linder

Markus Linder ist ein Impact-Unternehmer und Investor sowie Mitgründer und CEO von inoqo und Mitinitiator der European Sustainable Food Coalition (ESFC). Im Jahr 2006 gründete er das SaaS-Technologie-Startup Zoovu (ehemals SMARTASSISTANT) und war als Gründungs-CEO verantwortlich für die Skalierung des Unternehmens zum globalen Marktführer (über 25 Mio. $ an VC-Mitteln, fast 200 Mitarbeiter). 2019 zog er sich aus seiner operativen Rolle zurück und begann aktiv als Impact-Investor zu investieren, wobei er sich auf global skalierbare Geschäftsmodelle konzentriert, die die Biodiversität und die Klimakrise beeinflussen. 2020 initiierte er inoqo – ein Technologie-Startup, das Lebensmittelhändlern sowie Unternehmen der Lebensmittel- und Getränkeindustrie hilft, die Umweltauswirkungen ihrer Produkte zu bewerten und zu managen. Als Mitinitiator der European Sustainable Food Coalition (ESFC) hat Markus eine entscheidende Rolle dabei gespielt, verschiedene Interessengruppen zusammenzubringen, um die Nachhaltigkeit in der europäischen Lebensmittelindustrie voranzutreiben. Er entwickelt strategische Ziele und operative Rahmenwerke, pflegt hochrangige Partnerschaften und fördert die Schaffung standardisierter Nachhaltigkeitsberichte in der Europäischen Union.

Markus Linder is an impact entrepreneur and investor, as well as the Co-Founder & CEO of inoqo and Co-Initiator of the European Sustainable Food Coalition (ESFC). In 2006, he founded the SaaS technology startup Zoovu (previously known as SMARTASSISTANT) and was responsible for scaling the company to a global market leader ($25M+ in VC raised, nearly 200 employees) as its founding CEO. In 2019, he stepped back from his operational role and began actively investing as an impact investor, focusing on globally scalable business models that impact biodiversity and the climate crisis. In 2020, he initiated inoqo—a technology startup that helps grocery retailers and food and beverage companies assess and manage the environmental impact of their products. As a Co-Initiator of the European Sustainable Food Coalition (ESFC), Markus has been pivotal in bringing together diverse stakeholders to drive sustainability in the European food industry, developing strategic goals and operational frameworks, maintaining high-level partnerships, and facilitating the creation of standardized sustainability reporting across the European Union.
